Tradies Guide to Good Access
The new ‘Tradies Guide to Good Access’ was launched at an information night facilitated by the Master Builders Association at Ballina RSL Club on Tuesday evening (19 November).
The small A5 booklet, designed to fit into a back pocket, aims to give renovators, builders anddevelopers, simple information about minimum requirements to assist in making the built environment more accessible for everyone, at home and in commercial settings.
The Tradies Guide is an invaluable tool for builders and contractors to fulfil their obligations to provide good access in construction.
The booklet is an initiative of the Northern Rivers Regional Access Forum comprising of representatives of Access Committees from Ballina, Byron, Lismore, Richmond Valley, Kyogle, Tweed, Richmond Valley and Coffs Harbour councils.
Download the ‘Tradies’ guide or pick up a copy at Council’s administration centre in Station Street, Mullumbimby.
